Virgin Atlantic is accelerating the introduction of superfast Starlink Wi-Fi across its entire fleet.
The free, high-speed connectivity is due to be available on all the airline’s Airbus A350s by early summer, with introduction from May.
The first flight to offer the system is due early next month flying from Heathrow to New York JFK, with fleet connectivity expected to reach two-thirds by end of 2026.
Starlink will extend across the carrier’s Boeing 787 Dreamliners and A330neos, with full installation expected across the entire fleet in 2027.
Passengers will be able to use multiple devices simultaneously including smartphones, laptops and tablets.
