Improving access to the summit of Table Mountain has always been a priority for locals who know how tricky that rocky terrain can be for many visitors.
While the views from the top are world-class, the rugged ground hasn’t always been easy to navigate if you aren’t on two steady feet. That officially changed this week.
In a move that makes this world-renowned site even more of a treasure for the millions of tourists who flock here, South African National Parks and the Table Mountain Aerial Cableway Company have officially pulled the ribbon on a brand-new Universal Access Walkway.
