TAAG Angola Airlines has officially opened ticket sales for its new Abidjan route, advancing the company’s expansion strategy across the African continent and reinforcing Angola’s positioning as a regional connectivity hub. The start of operations, with the first commercial passenger flight, is scheduled for April 6, 2026, linking Dr António Agostinho Neto International Airport (NBJ) to Félix Houphouët-Boigny International Airport (ABJ) in Abidjan, the economic capital of Côte d’Ivoire and one of the main financial and logistics centres in West Africa.
With this new route, TAAG strengthens regional connectivity and creates new opportunities for mobility, trade, and cooperation between Angola and Côte d’Ivoire, a strategic geography within Francophone Africa. source: read more https://africanpilot.africa/taag-angola-airlines-opens-sales-for-new-abidjan-route-with-first-commercial-flight-in-april-2026
