Qatar Airways added that it plans to further increase the route to daily this winter.
Meanwhile the airline is also set to increase its long-established Sao Paulo service from 14 to 17 flights per week from 25 June.
The extra frequencies will operate as flights QR785 and QR786, departing Doha at 0010 on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, arriving into Sao Paulo at 0900, and returning at 1030, landing back into Doha at 0645.
Commenting on the news Qatar Airways chief commercial officer, Mr. Thierry Antinori, said:
“We launched our services to Toronto Pearson Airport less than six months ago and have seen a strong response in the market. We are proud to announce the increase in flights to meet the growing demand for our award-winning travel experience.
“At the same time, we are expanding in South America with additional flights to São Paulo, a key gateway and strategic hub for business and leisure travel.”
