MSC Cruises will bring MSC Sinfonia back to South Africa for the 2027-28 season, with 32 sailings from Durban and Cape Town beginning 12 November 2027. Sales are now open for the programme, which includes cruises ranging from three to 12 nights.

MSC Sinfonia will operate from Durban’s Nelson Mandela Cruise Terminal at the start of the season, sailing to Mozambique before a New Year itinerary that includes Port Louis in Mauritius and La Possession in Réunion. The ship then repositions to Cape Town in January 2028 for a series of cruises to Namibia, before returning to Durban to complete the season.

“MSC Sinfonia has had much success in South Africa, and we are confident that guests will be very happy with what this great vessel has to offer,” said Ross Volk, Managing Director, MSC Cruises South Africa.
