Marriott International announces The Cape Town EDITION hotel opening in 2026

In a significant step forward for luxury hospitality in Africa, Marriott International, Inc. has partnered with V&A Waterfront Holdings to announce the opening of The Cape Town EDITION, scheduled to launch in 2026.

This landmark agreement heralds the debut of EDITION Hotels on the African continent, bringing a new wave of innovative and exquisite design, along with Marriott’s esteemed service to the bustling city of Cape Town.

Karim Cheltout, Senior Vice President of Development for the Middle East & Africa at Marriott International, expressed enthusiasm about the project.
