Lift Airlines has announced that it will temporarily suspend flights between Cape Town and Durban.
“Over the winter period we have made the decision to revise our schedule and temporarily suspend our route between Cape Town and Durban, between May 7 and June 12,” reads the statement, published by Travel news.
The airline added that passengers are being notified and that they have reaccommodated anyone with pre-existing bookings on alternative flights.
“Our team is focused on minimizing the impact on travelers during this time and will assist passengers with any necessary changes,” the statement continued.
The airline will resume its normal daily schedule between Durban and Johannesburg, as well as Johannesburg and Cape Town.
Flights between Cape Town and Durban will resume on June 13.
