KLM has announced that it is returning to Bridgetown, Barbados.
The route to Barbados was last in service in the winter season of 2021 and 2022.
It’s now due to restart from 26 October 2025, running until 26 March 2026.
The route will be operated by a Boeing 787-9, running from Amsterdam Schipol Airport three times weekly on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays at 0935, with arrival into Bridgetown at 1335.
The aircraft will then fly on to Georgetown, Guyana at 1505, arriving at 1640 local time.
Return flights will depart Georgetown at 1800, landing in Amsterdam at 0800 the following day.
Other carriers currently operating routes from the UK to Bridgetown include British Airways, Virgin Atlantic and Aer Lingus.
British Airways has a year-round service from Heathrow and a seasonal service from Gatwick, while Virgin Atlantic operates a year-round service from Heathrow and a seasonal route from Manchester Airport.
Aer Lingus’ flights to Bridgetown are also seasonal, departing from Manchester Airport three times weekly between November and April.
