The largest airline in the Middle East, Emirates, has announed that it will increase flights to Johannesburg in South Africa.
The airline is set to introduce a fourth daily flight between Dubai International Airport (DXB) in Dubai and OR Tambo International Airport (JNB) in Johannesburg. The new additional service will begin on 01 March, 2025, and will be operated on a three-class Boeing 777-300ER, offering an additional 708 seats in and out of South Africa’s largest and busiest international airport every day.
This follows the recent announcement of the second daily Airbus A380 between Dubai and Johannesburg, which launched on 01 September 2024.
Emirates’ fourth daily service between Dubai and Johannesburg will depart Dubai at 00:10, arriving in Johannesburg at 06:20; the return flight will depart Johannesburg at 10:15 arriving in Dubai at 20:15.
