Emirates has announced plans to increase flights between Dubai and Barcelona.
The Gulf carrier will add a third daily frequency from 26 October, from which date the schedules will be as follows:
Dubai-Barcelona
EK255 (Boeing 777) departs Dubai at 0345, arriving into Barcelona at 0815
EK185 (Airbus A380) departs Dubai at 0815, arriving into Barcelona at 1250
EK187 (Boeing 777) departs Dubai at 1400, arriving into Barcelona at 1835
Barcelona-Dubai
EK256 (Boeing 777) departs Barcelona at 1510, arriving into Dubai at 0035 the following day
EK186 (Airbus A380) departs Barcelona at 1530, arriving into Dubai at 0100 the following day
EK188 (Boeing 777) departs Barcelona at 2025, arriving into Dubai at 0555 the following day
Emirates launched daily flights to Barcelona in 2012, before increasing the service to twice daily in 2015.
The airline currently operates 28 weekly flights to Spain – 14 to Madrid and 14 to Barcelona (of which seven weekly flights carry on to Mexico City since this route was launched in 2022).
Emirates’ fellow ME3 carriers Etihad and Qatar Airways also serve Barcelona from their respective Abu Dhabi and Doha bases.
