As more premium economy seats take flight, key business destinations such as New York and Zurich will feature Emirates’ new cabin on every service.
Emirates’ network-wide rollout of premium economy continues to gain momentum, with the carrier planning to fly the cabin to 99 destinations by the end of this year.
The ambitious goal is part of the airline’s US$5 billion fleet retrofit programme. Under these works, 219 Airbus A380 and Boeing 777 jets gain premium economy seating.
Ongoing deliveries of other aircraft, including the Airbus A350, also bring more premium economy seats online.
Emirates’ Latest Premium Economy Expansions
In the first half of 2026, Emirates will extend premium economy onto all flights from Dubai to Basra, Entebbe, Ho Chi Minh City, Mauritius, Milan, New York and Zurich. All Dubai-Dublin flights will also offer premium economy by late October.
Hong Kongers and those visiting are also in for a treat, with the flagship Airbus A380 appearing on all Emirates flights from October. Then, by December, all superjumbos serving Hong Kong will sport premium economy: just in time for the Christmas travel rush.
Most Emirates A380 flights – including to Hong Kong – offer first class, as well as business class and economy.
But Emirates has a subset of A380s for destinations with higher demand in economy class, configured without first class suites in favour of a more sizeable economy cabin.
From April, these two-class birds will gain premium economy.
