Delta has opened the third facility under its Delta One lounge brand.

The carrier first announced plans for the premium lounge concept in 2022, and the first space opened this summer at New York JFK’s Terminal 4, followed by a second facility at Los Angeles International Airport’s Terminal 3 in October.

The latest Delta One lounge is located on Concourse E at Boston Logan International Airport, and is accessible through the Delta Sky Club which itself opened in August 2023.

Similar to the Sky Club, the design of the 620 sqm Delta One lounge pays homage to Boston’s maritime heritage.

Features include a custom-designed sail ceiling, and a bar which has been inspired by the USS Constitution (affectionately known as Old Ironsides), which is the world’s oldest commissioned naval warship still afloat.

The lounge overlooks Boston Harbour and the city’s skyline, and offers a seafood-focused menu with dishes including warm Maine lobster roll, octopus carpaccio and cod Milanese, as well as other options including steak tartare. Delta said that guests will be able to receive a three-course meal in less than an hour.

The facility is open to customers departing or arriving on Delta One tickets, as well as Delta 360 members departing or arriving on a Delta First Class ticket, and first / business class customers travelling with Air France, LATAM, KLM, Korean Air and Virgin Atlantic.

Eligible guests also get access to the adjacent Sky Club facilities, including six shower suites, and exclusive use of the Club living room area to the right of check-in.

Delta currently operates more than 160 peak-day departures to 63 destinations from Boston, including year-round flights to London Heathrow and seasonal services to Dublin and Edinburgh.

The carrier will also launch routes from the airport to Barcelona and Milan in summer 2025.

Commenting on the opening Claude Roussel, vice president – Delta Sky Club and lounge experience, said:

“No two Delta One Lounges are alike – with each new space, we strive to create something truly special and distinct to the host city, while never compromising on service or quality.

“We know our guests value the exclusivity and hospitality of dining at a Delta One Lounge. This lounge is designed to deliver the elevated, VIP experience guests want – an experience that draws inspiration from the history and culinary traditions of Boston.”
