Having cut the ribbon on its glamorous new-look The Wing First lounge in Hong Kong earlier this year, Cathay Pacific’s next three lounges are taking shape.
Here’s what passengers travelling on Cathay – and in many cases, a handful of other Oneworld airlines – can look forward to across the coming eighteen months.
An all-new Cathay lounge at New York JFK
Later this year, Cathay Pacific will move out of its current home at JFK Terminal 8 and ito the redeveloped and transformed T6.
For Cathay, this means a rare opportunity to build an all-new lounge – its first-ever at New York – which can also be tightly integrated into the terminal as a whole.
This will include the convenience of direct boarding onto the aerobridge and the awaiting CX flight, along with a streamlined check-in experience for premium travellers.
The Cathay Pacific New York JFK lounge will span some 930m2 (10,000ft2) with room for almost 200 passengers, with a dedicated zone for first class customers and Cathay Diamond frequent flyers.
Other creature comforts will include high-power USB-C outlets, wireless charging points and shower suites. read more….source……https://www.executivetraveller.com/news/new-cathay-pacific-lounges-for-jfk-hong-kong-tokyo-narita
