Airlink has submitted an application to the International Air Services Licensing Council to operate seven return flights a week between Johannesburg and Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja, Nigeria.
The airline’s new Embraer E195-E2 aircraft brings several sub-Saharan destinations within reach for the first time due to its range and payload capability.
“Airlink is applying to be a designated South African carrier on the route.
