Air France is set to unveil a new dedicated check-in area for its La Première customers at Paris CDG, as part of a range of enhanced experiences for its first class passengers at the airport.
The new check-in lobby will open in July in time for the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, and will feature a dedicated concierge to attend to luggage.
There will be 15 seats and two private lounges (more on these later), with furnishings from French designers including Pierre Paulin and Christophe Pillet, and a colour scheme of white and grey accented with touches of red.
The area will also be available to La Première customers arriving into Paris CDG, with shower facilities and checked luggage being brought to them.
Once departing passengers have been checked in they will be escorted via a private passageway with a dedicated security checkpoint, featuring a series of images portraying the airline’s iconic winged seahorse.

The passageway will then take customers onto the 1,000 sqm La Première lounge, which features an Alain Ducasse dining and wine menu, and a Sisley spa area which opened in 2021.
Air France has also created three new private suites connected to the lounge, which can be reserved from €800 and which also include access to the private lounges at check-in mentioned above.
The lounge suites measure 45 sqm and feature a living area, a bedroom with double bed, a bathroom and an outdoor patio. Guests will benefit from a dedicated butler, and a specially curated menu by Ducasse and his team.
Each suite has its own design, with furnishing including Charlotte Perriand’s writing table, Pierre Paulin’s Ribbon chair and Philippe Starck’s Privé sofa, as well as fresh flowers and artwork by French artists. Two of the lounge suites can also be adjoined and reserved together on request.

The new facilities come ahead of the launch of the carrier’s new La Première cabin this winter.
As previously reported, Air France says that the new cabin “will be the longest on the market and will offer up to three modular configurations that can be fully privatized for an even more exceptional journey: a seat, a sofa and a fully flat bed”.
This summer the airline will offer La Première on 19 Boeing 777-300ERs flying to Abidjan, Dubai, Los Angeles, Miami, New York-JFK, San Francisco, Sao Paulo, Singapore, Tokyo Haneda and Washington.
Air France said that the forthcoming new La Première cabin would see the class extended across a greater number of aircraft compared to today.
The first class developments follow the introduction of Air France’s new concierge services at Paris CDG, including baggage handling, private transfers and the option to be accompanied through the airport journey.
